– HETIS IV Dressing is a waterproof, slotted stapler (except HETIS IV Dressing 6070), consisting of a thin transparent PU film (polyurethane film), with a hypoallergenic adhesive layer to the skin, one end is designed to enclose and secure the catheter, the needle is used on the skin.
– Semi-permeable PU membrane, prevents water and microorganisms while still allowing water vapor to escape and exchange oxygen (MVTR (moisture vapour transmission rate) ≥600 g/m2.24h).
– The transparent dressing allows visualization of the tube placement while protecting the bandaged area from external contamination.
– The product is sterilized by gamma rays, each piece is contained in a separate sterile bag.
– The product is convenient, easy to use and manipulate.
- Fix and protect needles, catheters.
- Fix the device used on the skin.
- Do not use for infected wounds, exuding a lot of fluid such as chronic wounds, 3rd degree burns, ...
- Do not use HETIS I.V Dressing as an alternative to wound closure.
- Clean the skin area where the dressing is placed, make sure it is clean and dry
- Open the package, remove the dressing and remove the backing paper from the dressing
- Place IV dressing on the needle tube so that the needle port in the center of the groove is not blocked and place the dressing in the center of the bandage covering the tip of the needle (do not stretch when using)
- Remove the paper frame and gently rub it to increase adhesion on the skin
- Usage information (date, name, ...) is written on the adhesive label on the dressing
- Use stickers (above the tape) to hold the tube, threader
- Regularly monitor the condition of the dressing and the wound bed.
- Do not stretch the dressing when using because this action can cause the wound bed to stretch, causing pain for the patient.
- Make sure the skin is dry and intact for better adhesion of the dressing.
- Do not use the product when the packaging is torn or damaged.
