Structure: transparent polyurethane film (covered with acrylic that does not irritate skin).
– Characteristics:
+ The semi-permeable PU membrane prevents water and microorganisms from entering but still allows water vapor to escape and exchange oxygen (MTVR ≥600g / m2.24h).
+ Transparent, easy to observe the wound without removing the bandage.
+ Good elasticity, comfortable, comfortable to use.
+ Sterilized by gamma ray, and packed into sterile bags.
+ Convenient, easy to use.
– Indication: shallow, dry wounds such as: scratches, skin tears or can be used to fix catheters, needles, or other gauze.
– Contraindications: the wound produces a lot of fluid, infections such as chronic wounds, third degree burns, …
Indications
HETIS Film is indicated for use in superficial wounds with little or no fluid, such as:
  • Scratches and tears in the skin
  • Small clean wound bed with little or no discharge
  • HETIS Film can be used to secure catheters or other dressing.
Contraindications
  • Do not use for infected wounds, exuding a lot of fluid such as chronic wounds, 3rd degree burns, ...
  • Do not use as a substitute for sutures and other wound closure methods.
Instructions for Use
  • Clean the wound bed and surrounding areas with a specialized solution.
  • Dry the wound with sterile cotton and dry gauze.
  • Choose the dressing suitable to the location, size and shape of the wound bed, should choose the dressing at least 2 cm wider than the wound bed.
  • Take the dressing out of the package, place the dressing in the center of the wound bed, make sure the dressing covers the entire wound bed and stick to the surrounding skin, gently rub so that the dressing adheres to the skin.
  • Regularly monitor the condition of the dressing and the wound bed.
  • The frequency of changing dressing depends on the actual wound and as prescribed by the doctor.
Warning and Precautions
  • Do not use for thin skin, easy to peel.
  • Do not stretch the dressing when using because this action can cause the wound bed to stretch, causing pain for the patient.
  • Make sure the skin is dry and intact for better adhesion of the dressing.
  • Do not use the product when the packaging is torn or damaged.
